WELCOME TO ST PETER'S CHURCH

Serving God by serving you,
your family & the community

HOT OFF THE PRESS

The Coffee Shop will be closed all day on Tuesday 28th January for a funeral in church

WE'RE RECRUITING!
COFFEE SHOP MANAGER
10 HOURS PER WEEK

Could you provide excellent, encouraging management to our not-for-profit Coffee Shop which has served the community for the last 10 years?

If so, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for a highly organised individual who has previous experience of managing staff/volunteers to manage and provide support to those who volunteer in the Coffee Shop.

Responsibilities will range from ensuring the smooth running of the Coffee Shop on a day to day basis, supporting volunteers and completing rotas, to recruitment, working within a budget and adhering to local policies.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a supervisory role, a good general education, excellent communication skills, passion for caring for those in the community, and the ability to bring innovative ideas on how the Coffee Shop can be promoted and marketed effectively.

The position offers flexible working (from home and from the Coffee Shop) and provides the opportunity to contribute to the provision of a valuable community facility. You will be offered training as required and have the opportunity to increase your own experience within a nurturing, friendly team.

If this sounds like you and you would like to work for a charity which is dedicated to the wellbeing of its employees, volunteers and the people of Filton, contact the Revd Lizzie Gregory for more information:

Closing date for applications is Monday 6th January, with interviews held on Tuesday 21st January, 2020.

WHO WE ARE

A welcoming Anglican Church with its heart in the sacraments and its place at the centre of the community

St Peter's Church is a church devoted to developing a holy consciousness. We believe that worship is something that can be expressed in everything we do, whether that be nourishing our bodies with food, chatting with friends, playing music, or enjoying nature. Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the Holy Scriptures and Sacraments; life’s only guidebook. Whatever your age, gender, race or ability, there is a special place for you at our Church. We offer members a chance to become part of something greater, to grow their love for God and for one another in our beautiful community. Get in touch today or swing by for a visit.
